Procurement Manager

This Publicly Traded Apparel company services the Industrial and Workforce area. They are over $100MM in sales and looking to significantly grow over the next 5 years. Perform all procurement and contracting activities for Company’s US manufacturing facilities to insure orderly operations. Integrate resources to drive costs down and utilize Company’s manufacturing capabilities.

Representative Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform all the procurement and contracting activities including sourcing and pre-qualification
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to obtain best price and service identifying cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals
• Collaborate with various divisions to develop and implement all purchasing strategies for materials/products and coordinate our international supply chain
• Coordinate with subsidiaries for purchasing in compliance with all policies and procedures
• Manage all vendor approvals and requests and maintain an updated complete vendor list
• Manage overall direction, coordination and evaluation of procurement to include procurement process development and implementation across all subsidiaries
• Coordinate with Product Managers and Sales to identify all new product requirements meet business requirements. Analyze and estimate the cost trends for Company’s marketplace to insure costing optimization

Preferences: Knowledge of global procurement best practices

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Experience: 5 years of procurement experience

Preferred Education/Experience:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Experience: 10 years of procurement experience for manufacturing
