Vice President, Sales & Marketing for North America

This company is a large global provider of apparel goods, with the marketing and sales team being a key part of the organization. They are a growing, and are looking for an experienced leader to head our USA Marketing and Sales office and drive the North American business and customer development activity forward. They are a $300MM international company with about $80MM in US Sales. They are looking to grow the US Market. They provide finished garments to three sectors: Uniform, Constructed/Tailored and Casual. Wovens and knits. Hybrid office in NYC.

As the US Marketing and Sales leader, you will be responsible for acquiring new business and maintaining a close connection with current clients. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the world’s leading brands and global retailers in multiple product categories. The ideal candidate for this position will have a deep understanding of the entire apparel industry and a proven track record of success in business relationship building in the apparel business. We seek a natural leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire and motivate your team and colleagues to achieve their best.

We offer a salary range of $160-$180K plus an annual performance bonus. Our people are the most important part of our business and you will have the ability to grow and develop your career with us. You will work in a supportive, collaborative environment and report to the company’s SVP of Global Marketing.

We are looking for the following:
• A North American Sales & Marketing leader to join our team and lead the growth of this business
• Build and execute an ambitious long-term sales and marketing plan
• Market the company’s unique apparel production capabilities to retailers and brands (B2B) in North America
• Connect with potential new customers to win new business
• Work to maintain productive relationships with existing clients, creating growth and additional business

Your activities for success:
• Relationships with leading decision makers in our industry and the ability to build new relationships with target customers
• Develop an ongoing and growing marketplace knowledge of potential customers and their end users
• Create and execute a focused and targeted marketing plan
• Present the company, products, and services professionally and in a structured professional way, traveling or video meeting with customers as required

Your work experience will include:
• Ideally five years of work experience, working at an apparel manufacturer, brand, or retailer
• Experience in and knowledge of the apparel supply chain is a big plus
