Junior Logistics Coordinator

We are working with a leading international personal hygiene group in the baby care, feminine hygiene, and adult care markets for consumers, retailers, institutional and private health care providers in over 15 countries. The company has dozens of facilities and brands, with Billions in annual revenue. The company has a need for a Junior Logistic Coordinator located north of Atlanta, GA and will report to the Supply Chain Manager.

Job Purpose:
• Manages the flow of finished goods through the supply chain for the company’s North America region in ways that meet the customer service and cost management objectives

Main Responsibilities and Key Tasks:
• Manage Items: o Set up new items in the system/s (including item details, price, etc.)
o Conduct item maintenance activities (e.g., substitution, discontinuances, etc.)
• Plan Inventory Requirements:
o Work with the Supply Chain Manager, and other associates to determine finished goods requirements at each node of the company’s distribution network o Analyze and communicate product requirements to manufacturing and distribution locations
• Procure Inventory through Distribution Network:
o “Call out” inventory from manufacturing location(s) and advise shipping instructions o Make arrangements for receipt of incoming products with distribution network locations of customers o Process documentation for incoming shipments
o Execute systems transactions to receive inventory and create vendor payables
• Deliver against Customer Service objectives:
o Identify/resolve potential product shortage or other service issues; Communicate unresolved issues to Customer Service associates and collaborate on solutions/follow-ups
o Work with appropriate people with the company network of Supply, Transportation, Distribution, and Customer Service associates to prioritize and expedite product movement to meet customer order commitments

• 3+ years of business experience with a consumer-packaged goods company
• 2+ years of experience in a Supply Chain role managing 3rd party distribution resources
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Manufacturing and / or distribution experience/exposure
• SAP and ERP system experience desired
• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus/desired
