Business Manager, Rugs

This US Owned Rug company is in a growth and expansion mode and is looking for new talent. They are a staple in the Rug industry and have been around for 40+ years. They are making machine made woven rugs in the US. Full benefits. This opportunity is about 30 minutes south of Greenville, SC in a great town and a great location. This is a in the office opportunity. They will offer relocation assistance.

The Account Manager is responsible for securing the long-term profitable growth of the company, by understanding the targeted markets/customers, providing critical input into Product Design activities, promoting the products/capabilities, and developing new business opportunities and leading the Sales Team. This position will also work with the EVP Sales and Marketing to assist with branding and image of the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop strategic sales plans based upon targeted market/customer knowledge
• Own all aspects of assigned company’s customers – establish, maintain, and grow relationships with existing and future customers based upon open, honest communication and a sincere desire to achieve a win/win scenario
• Identify and develop new opportunities in support of company’s goals and objectives
• Establish and maintain accurate pricing landscapes and sales forecasts based upon market trends, competitor analysis and customer input
• Work with Product Design team to provide customer/market product requirements, ensuring that products meet/exceed competitor products and achieve the Voice of the Customer desires
• Support the Marketing Team, including development of promotional material, targeted advertising and participation in industry, customer, and trade show events
• Support acquisition and coordination of all Social Media Influencers
• Establish and track annual sales budget, in support of company’s goals/objectives
• Provide regular reporting and updates to Leadership inclusive of sales targets, forecasting, budgeting and status, re-forecasting at periodic points and producing projections as required
• Support E-Commerce initiatives through sku selection and promotion
• Foster and instill company’s mission, vision, values, and ethics within the organization

Qualifications: Education/ Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• 5+ years’ experience in a rug sales environment preferred, minimum 2.5 years in progressive sales role
• Experience in E-commerce is preferred
• Excellent communication and relationship skills are a must
• Strong computer skills/experience, including MS Office Suite
• Ability to collaborate with others
• Proven sales and negotiation experience
• Extensive experience with customer presentations
• Up to 50% travel to both customers and industry events
