Product Manager, Technical Textiles
Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer of coated and non-coated Industrial Textiles and other engineered solutions used in a variety of industrial and manufacturing applications. They manufacture high-end, precision-engineered products that are sold into aerospace, energy companies, high tech and other diversified markets. They are part of a publicly-owned, financially strong company that’s been in business for over 100 years! This division does over $100MM in sales annually and are growing leaps and bounds! The company has made recent significant investments in the business and growth expectations are expected to double or triple!
We are searching for a Product Manager in Technical Textiles to provide strategic market analysis, product strategy and lifecycle management, pricing and promotional roadmap, and new product development and launch plans to help meet business growth and profitability markets. You will set the strategic direction for markets and product portfolios and act as the central communication point for sales, R&D, technology and operations. This role reports into the VP of Sales & Marketing defining existing and target markets and will act as a central “go to” person to coordinate and execute products and markets development strategy in the US. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years Product Management experience with a B to B technical product line. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required. Experience in technical textiles in industrial manufacturing and an MBA preferred. This role requires a strong independent person with a technical acumen. This is a very hands-on position designed for an early/mid-career candidate.
