Director of Product Management

This is an amazing opportunity to join a great international Brand. The reason the position is open is that the person that was in the role is retiring at the end of the year. There will be a transition time with this person that will ensure your success. You will have a team of 4 to 5 people reporting into you.  This team is already in place.

They are in the process of realigning this department into three areas: Merchandising, Design and Product Development. The candidate we are looking for must have a strong background and experience in the Merchandising area. This person will perform the Merchandising tasks as well as managing the PM team. As head of Merchandising, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the product line strategy to drive growth and profitability for the segments of the product line you are responsible for. You will serve as the communication liaison and manage all product deliverables and timelines. Additionally, you are responsible for ensuring all product data is accurate and up to date in the applicable systems/tools.

We are looking for a candidate that has worked in a consumer products company that sells to large retailers. Right now, this company is selling to: Lowe’s, Tractor Supply, Walmart, Costco, Menards, Ace Hardware, Amazon, as well as large Farm and Fleet retailers.

This role will report directly to the President of the Retail Division.
