Technical Sales Engineer/Engineering Business Manager, Florida

We are working with one of the world’s leading manufacturers of Woven and Nonwoven Geosynthetic fabrics. There’s an immediate opening for a Technical Sales Engineer to cover the state of Florida. You should live in the greater Orlando or Tampa areas but will work remotely from a home office.

The ideal candidate will have a college degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or Technical Science along with 3+ years’ experience in Geosynthetics in the Construction or Earthworks market or other similar experience. Technical knowledge in roadway reinforcement, subgrade stabilization, pavement rehabilitation, erosion control, capping projects, walls, slopes, reinforced retaining walls, etc. is a big plus! In this role you will coordinate and work closely with the Regional Sales Manager(s), Inside Sales and local distribution customers to develop relationships with Civil and Geotechnical consultants, DOT’s, municipal agencies and private entities to generate specifications for engineered product solutions. You will frequently conduct technical presentations including ½ day seminars for technical audiences in private and public engineering firms, at industry trade shows, and occasionally to in-kind distributors. You should bring with you and also be adept in developing a network of relationships in the business and routinely follow up on those relationships for project leads. Travel is estimated to be 50-75 nights per year.
