Production Line Technologist Manager

Are you an experienced engineer or production leader with a work history to include automated carding machinery for Nonwovens production? Are you looking for a great new challenge?

We are searching for a Production Line Technologist Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the entire Carding Nonwoven production line and packaging area, monitor, audit daily, and if necessary, troubleshoot, line operating conditions, production rate, quality of product and yield across all production shifts in a 24/7 operation process. The individual in this position is required to lead a group of line supervisors, operators and packagers in achieving production goals which meet internal and customer requirements. This job requires the ability to operate highly automated PC-based manufacturing equipment, perform basic arithmetic, analytical, statistical and apply problem-solving strategies to the production operation.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:
• BS. Degree in Fiber, Engineering or Material Science or related field and 3-5 years related experience, in Textile, Fiber or Nonwoven processing (Carding and Thermo-Bond process preferred). However, consideration will be given to individuals with an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (nonwoven preferred).
• Ability to run all areas of the production operation, and mentor subordinate employees in proper safety, quality, and operating procedures.
