Field Sales/Junior Sales Representative

The ideal candidate will:
• Find excitement selling premium world-class products to the most significant Outdoor and Lifestyle brands in NA
• Be effective at developing and executing account plans
• Appreciate and develop strong interpersonal relationships at all levels of the customer organization and across the organization
Responsibilities include:
• Being responsible for setting and reaching sales goals, margin targets and sell thru for several various sized accounts
• Developing and implementing account plans, including long-term winning account strategies, objectives and opportunities; This plan is to be used as the basis for internal and external periodic reviews
• Maintaining deep and broad knowledge of the accounts’ business, so as to be able to create exceptional value for it; this includes an exceptional understanding of the accounts’ strategies, positioning to consumers, and the priorities of various purchase decision-makers
• Closely coordinating with Business Unit, Marketing Team, Sales and Product Team to develop product ranges, merchandising solutions and agreements that uniquely build company’s ability to succeed with each account
• Developing deep and broad market knowledge needed to provide value to each account
• Possessing the ability to turn complex internal product/business strategies into clear and concise account strategies
• Establishing clear sales call objectives and writing corresponding effective account trip/call reports
• Following through on commitments to customers and internal team(s)
Required Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• A minimum 3 years’ experience successfully selling premium-priced technical products in a consumer related industry
• Understanding of and experience with premise-based forecasting
• Demonstrated:
o Ability to uncover, develop and win complex opportunities in a fast paced, demanding environment
o Ability to work successfully in a team environment, including demonstrated experience leading, motivating and influencing others
o Ability finding the proper balance between championing the account needs internally and representing the needs of the company externally
• Proven track record developing deep and comprehensive customer, competitor, and market knowledge, leveraging it for Company’s advantage
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written), including listening skills
• Proficiency using computer software and applications (i.e. Sales Force)
• Willingness to reside in CA, ideally southern CA
• Ability to:
o Influence key internal and external stakeholders to drive sales opportunities to completion while successfully developing lasting relationships with multiple levels of customer organizations
o And desire to gain deep product knowledge and leverage this knowledge to identify and close customer opportunities
o Think strategically and solve problems
o Navigate a matrix organization
o Manage to independence of working remotely with the need to stay connected to key stakeholders within the organization
o Travel an average of 30% (with seasonal travel slightly higher)

Desired Job Qualifications:
• Experience in the garments, footwear or related industry
