Quality Manager

We are searching for an experienced Quality Manager to join this team!

Responsibilities:
•Overall responsibility for Quality Assurance and Customer Interface activities
•Direct interaction with customers to proactively resolve quality issues
•Works closely with manufacturing personnel to achieve continuous quality improvement
•Leads all IATF16949 & ISO14001 activities
•Effectively demonstrates financial impact of quality improvements
•Effectively communicates results to management as well as opportunities for improvement
•Participates in Kaizen activities
•Manages projects effectively
•Uses Toyota Production System methodology to improve quality processes and standardize work activities whenever possible
•As member of new product launch team, ensures that quality system requirements are met
•Audits subcontractor quality systems

Requirements:
•IATF16949 & ISO14001 experience/knowledge required
•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required; Mechanical Engineering degree or background preferred
•Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering and quality systems experience with an automotive supplier strongly preferred
•Leadership experience in a Quality role is preferred
•Toyota Production System experience or knowledge required
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects and work independently required
•Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external customers required
•Demonstrated effective communications and interpersonal skills required
•Working knowledge of basic statistical techniques required
