Regional Sales Manager
Location: West Coast, Remote
We are working with one of the world’s leading manufacturers of Woven and Nonwoven Geosynthetic fabrics. They are privately held with revenues over $180MM+ in the U.S. and another $300 MM+ among their other 6 manufacturing plants internationally. They’re very stable, have extremely low turnover and are very loyal to their employees. They have an experienced team in place that are very supportive and is a fantastic company to work for!
There’s an immediate opening for a Regional Sales Manager to cover multi-sates within the West Coast Region of the U.S. You will work remotely from a home office with a preference for candidates in CA although other locations within the region will be considered. You should live near a major airport. They’re offering a competitive salary, company car and full and generous benefits!
The ideal candidate will have a college degree with a preference (but not required) in Engineering or a Technical Science along with knowledge and expertise in Geosynthetics in the Construction or Earthworks market or other similar experience. In this role you will coordinate and work closely with the Engineering Business Manager(s) and Inside Sales Manager(s) to develop relationships with end users and distributors to drive sales and get company products specified. You will conduct frequent presentations for technical audiences in private and public engineering firms, construction companies, municipalities, at industry trade shows, and also to in-kind distributors. Must have computer skills in the MS Office suite and will fully utilize a CRM to manage the Region. You should bring with you and also be adept in developing a network of relationships and routinely follow up on those relationships for project leads. 50%+ travel is anticipated.
