Corporate Purchasing Manager

They are privately held with revenues over $180MM+ in the U.S. and another $300 MM+ among their other 6 manufacturing plants internationally. There’s an immediate opening for a Corporate Purchasing Manager at their Northeastern Georgia facility. We’re looking for candidates with seasoned procurement experience in manufacturing with a preference to someone in the textile industry. The Purchasing Manager will support the manufacturing and sales organizations by employing best practice procurement and inventory management techniques to secure required materials, products, and services in the most timely manner with ever-improving quality at the lowest possible cost. You will develop and manage highly motivated, professional and multi-located procurement teams consisting of managers, buyers and purchase to pay staff. Responsible and accountable for all aspects of procurement activity including but not limited to procurement plan development and execution, sourcing strategies, supplier management, purchase to pay process and spend optimization. Bachelor’s degree is required, MBA preferred. This position reports to the Director of Supply Chain.
