Maintenance Manager

We are working with a manufacturer of Nonwovens using state of the art technologies offering multiple applications to global clients. They are a strong, global, thriving company in expansion mode! They are a pioneer in the technological development of innovative materials and solutions as well as new production processes. They contribute to the success of their customers in a broad range of markets and applications such as Automotive, Building Materials, Energy, Medical and more.

•Provide leadership to the site’s mechanics, electricians, and control technicians
•Serve as a technical expert for the development, implementation and support of corresponding equipment required to produce products with minimum downtime
•Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies & guidelines

Qualifications/Competencies:
•Education: Minimum Bachelor's or advanced degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field and a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in maintenance/engineering

Work Experience:
•Typically, 7-10 years relevant experience in maintenance/engineering
•Knowledge of manufacturing control systems, such as: PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers); variable speed and servo motor drives; HMI; sensors; automated inspection systems
•Exposure to applied distributed control systems including technology understanding and development with a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into execution of process and capacity improvements
•3+ years of Continuous Improvement (Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Time & Motion Studies, Value Stream Mapping, etc.), practical engineering, and project management experience within manufacturing environments with demonstrated knowledge of continuous and batch manufacturing processes
•A demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve project results within required time frames
