Facilities Maintenance Manager
Location: Greensboro, NC
This is a Global Textile Supplier that is making money and growing. They have solid benefits and a great work environment. They are looking for someone that can lead a team of 18-20 people on a Maintenance team and handle everything from the Ceiling to the Drain.
Economically and efficiently manage all Engineering and Maintenance salary/wage employees, vendors, and contractors to maintain manufacturing facilities and machinery to minimize manufacturing interruptions, downtime, and nonstandard conditions.
Key Responsibilities and Functions:
•Promote company objectives through strong leadership abilities
•Maintain plant machinery, buildings and grounds within parts and supplies budget
•Manage capital and expense projects
•Manage plant maintenance personnel and budgets
•Maintain housekeeping and appearance standards for machinery, buildings and grounds
•Enforce compliance with company, local, state and federal Safety rules and standards. Promote safe work practices and behaviors
•Manage contracts, contractors, and vendors providing equipment and services for maintenance of plant machinery, buildings, grounds, and security
•Confronts and solves performance/operational issues to improve plant performance and downtime
•Plans and schedules all mechanical, electrical and instrumentation maintenance of machinery
•Manage utility services
•Understands TPM, Root Cause Analysis, Predictive Maintenance, 5-S, Kaizen and Time Management
•Education: BA/BS Electrical, Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent experience
•Experience: 5-10 years’ experience in the area of maintenance management
•Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Enterprise Software (SAP preferred)
