Fabric Sales Manager, Casual Furniture
We are searching for a Technical Fabric Sales Manager for the Casual Furniture industry. You will be accountable for the sales objectives and channel management of casual furniture fabrics - this is an individual contributor role. The position will manage key customer relationships, prospect and establish new customers, and be a brand ambassador for the company. This positon will report to their Southeast location. •Demonstrated record of achievement in prior sales positions - preferably technical textiles/fabric (into casual/furniture ideal!)
•Strong probing and closing skills, with a record of meeting sales goals
•Presentation skills- both technical, product related and administrative
•Management skills which emphasize excellence and high performance results
•Relationship building (with customers and internally with team)
•Thorough processing skills supporting programs/projects from beginning to end
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Individual must be a self-driven individual, who works well in both team and entrepreneurial environments
•Travel - 60% of time, within the assigned account base, Nationwide and International when necessary
•5 - 7+ years of experience in sales and/or management, preferably textile related
•Excellent math and data analyzation skill set
•Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficient
•SAP preferred, but not required
