Sales Manager

Location: North Carolina

They are recognized as the world’s leading supplier of single and double jersey knitting machines within several markets: The US division manages North, Central, and South America; the UK division manages Europe, Africa, and Turkey.

You will shadow and train with the current Vice President of Sales. He will mentor you and sharpen your skill set and prepare you for the role of Sales Manager. This is a tremendous opportunity for growth with an organization that has little to no turnover.

•Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, products, and markets
•Identify upcoming projects that are a good fit for our production capabilities
•Identify new/emerging opportunities that fit within our product lines
•Present proposals, reports, and specifications to potential clients
•Develop relationships and drive communication with current and potential clients
•Analyze, understand, and fulfill clients’ needs
•Experience working and partnering across disciplines
•Experience in and solid understanding of circular knit machines, circular knit structures, and methods of manufacturing relevant to our industry
•Identifying and building manufacturing solutions that help our clients deliver products to their end users
•Gather necessary requirements / specifications from clients
•Work with internal teams to accurately bid projects
•Ability to travel domestically 40% and Internationally 20%

Skills:
•Must have a great working knowledge of circular knits
•Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems
•Assess the processes and current sales tools being utilized and define a course of action to improve overall performance in sales activities
•Ability to learn and contribute quickly
•Team player, yet work autonomously; be accountable and learn from your teammates
•Self-motivated
•Strong presentation skills
•Spanish proficiency a plus

Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Textiles, Design, Business, or relevant discipline
