National Account Executive

Our client is a leader in high performance textiles and mission critical products and work with the Aerospace, Defense, and Medical industries. A privately-owned company that has been in business for over 40 years.

The National Account Executive is a crucial part of the team, using their exceptional skills in sales, relationship-building and knowledge of (Aerospace, Defense, Medical) to build our client base, while contributing to the overall company goals and objectives. They achieve maximum sales with new client acquisition of companies in our Ideal Client Profile. They lead complex commercial engagements, identifying and building manufacturing solutions that help our clients deliver products to their end users for mission critical applications. In this position, there is a high earning potential for self-starters eager to make an impact with their experience in the industry.

Responsibilities:
• Attract and acquire new clients, including:
o Prospecting for new business in our Ideal Client Profile
o Profiling Strategies Precision targeting at industry, vertical and product levels)
o Pipeline development and prioritization
o Gather necessary requirements / specifications from clients
o Wok with internal teams to accurately bid projects
o Manage bid and contract discussions through to successful conclusions
o Meet and exceed personal and company growth goals
• Apply successful sales strategies that respond to a short sales cycle and demonstrate the
• patience for very long sales cycle
• Sell to multiple levels of an organization, with strong emphasis on executive level relationships
• Actively consult with partners on solutions that exceed requirements through the recommendation and implementation of custom manufacturing solutions
• Prepare and present proposals, reports, and specifications with potential partners
• Partner with our internal teams to:
o Identify upcoming projects that are a good fit for our capabilities
o Identify new / emerging opportunities that fit within our product lines
• Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, products, and markets for (Government / Aerospace, Defense, and Medical) projects
• Constantly acquire better solution selling skills
• As needed, travel to clients, prospects, industry conferences, and events

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of quota carrying sales experience achieving/exceeding goal
• Background in selling flexible fabric solutions for mission critical applications or relevant industry (including military)
• Experience in and solid understanding of the types of processes, materials, and methods of manufacturing relevant to our industries
• Demonstrated, effective communication and influencing/negotiation skills
• Top-notch presentation skills, with the critical ability to create interactive presentations that engage and welcome client participation
• Contacts at the executive and decision maker level in the Government, Aerospace, Defense, Medical and Commercial space that know you, and like to do business with you
• Ability to analyze potential opportunities and program effectiveness
• Ability to learn and contribute quickly
• A self-starting, results-oriented, entrepreneurial mentality, with excellent time management and organizational skills
• Team player, yet work autonomously; be accountable and learn from your teammates
• Solid computer skills. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems
